The Critical Media Lab (Crimelab) is a cross-disciplinary, research-creation initiative founded in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo.   • Marcel O'Gorman recently received a SSHRC Seed Grant to complete a project called "Dreadmill 2.0" or perhaps "Cycle of Dread" with UK artist Dane Watkins.
  • Students at the School of Architecture, under the guidance of Andrew Hunter, are working on an innovative pavilion that will soon house the CrimeLab headquarters.
  • Andrew Hunter and Marcel O'Gorman recently submitted an ambitious grant proposal to mobilize digital artists as collaborators in two English courses.
  • Professor Andrew McMurry of English is headed to South Carolina to discuss "Geomatics and Georgics." He will further develop this work in a CrimeLab project that involves high-tech cows.
