Crimelab, in collaboration with Render , has commissioned UK artist Dane Watkins to produce a new digital media artwork to be launched in January 2008 at the Render space. The advertising campaign that brought you here was developed by students of a course at the University of Waterloo entitled "Discourse of Advertising." This was an experimental, project-based course led by Marcel O'Gorman and Andrew Hunter. The course was funded by a Learning Initiative Fund grant that will support another Crimelab/Render teaching collaboration in the fall of 2008, with the Reverend Luke Murphy
